Lessons
Which exam boards do you cover?
I teach all the main UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC, and plan every lesson around your child's board and target grade.
Which year groups do you teach?
Lessons are built around GCSE and A-Level, so most students are in Years 10 to 13. If your child is in Year 9 and has started the GCSE course, get in touch.
How do online lessons work?
Each lesson is a one-to-one video call. You'll get the link by email, and your child joins from home on a laptop or tablet.
When are lessons?
Lessons run from 5pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 9am to 12pm at weekends, UK time. We'll agree a regular weekly slot after the intro call.
How many lessons a week does my child need?
Usually one a week, which is what the lesson plan is built around. Some families add a second lesson before mocks or exams, and we can decide that together.
Can you help with mocks and past papers?
Yes. In the weeks before mocks and exams, lessons can focus on past paper questions and exam technique for your child's exam board.
How do I track my child's progress?
Progress is tracked through regular assessments and weekly lesson notes.
Are your lessons safe for students?
Yes. Lessons are recorded, and parents are welcome to sit in.
Payments and policies
How do I pay for lessons?
Lessons are £35 for GCSE and £40 for AS and A-Level per 60-minute lesson. Please pay by bank transfer before each lesson.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can rearrange the free intro call whenever you need to. For paid lessons, please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice are charged in full. See all lesson policies.
What equipment do I need?
A laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a steady internet connection. A quiet room helps too.
How is student data protected?
As a sole trader, I handle all student data in line with UK GDPR. The Privacy Notice explains what I collect and why.
